Effective date: April 7, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, request quotes, upload files, create an account, communicate with us, or purchase services. It applies to information processed in the United States unless we tell you otherwise for a specific program.
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Identifiers and contact data: name, email address, phone number, account identifiers, and similar information you provide.
- Commercial information: order history, quotes, estimates, materials selections, shipping and billing addresses, fulfillment details, and payment-related references (such as confirmation of payment method used, without storing full payment card numbers on our systems unless a processor provides tokenized data).
- User content: 3D model files (STL, STEP, 3MF, etc.), annotations, notes, and attachments you upload or send.
- Communications: content of emails, messages, and forms you send us, including support and order correspondence.
- Technical data:IP address, device and browser type, general location derived from IP, timestamps, diagnostic logs, security signals, and similar data collected automatically by our hosting, database, storage, email, analytics, and security vendors when you use the site. We may use Google reCAPTCHA on certain actions; Google may process data as described in Google's terms and privacy notices.
- Preferences: marketing or SMS opt-in choices where you explicitly consent.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal information as defined by some state laws (such as precise geolocation, health data, or government ID numbers) except where you voluntarily include them in a message or file and we need them to fulfill your request—in which case we use them only for that purpose and as permitted by law.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide quotes, process orders, produce parts, ship or release pickup orders, and communicate status;
- Authenticate accounts, prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and enforce our terms;
- Maintain records for accounting, taxes, warranties, and legal compliance;
- Improve our website, workflows, and customer experience;
- Send transactional messages (order updates, password resets, responses to inquiries) and, where you have opted in, marketing or SMS alerts in accordance with your consent and applicable law;
- Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights, safety, and property.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests (such as securing the site and operating our business), balanced against your rights; consent where required (for example optional marketing SMS); and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We may disclose information to:
- Service providers who host our application and database, send email, store files, process payments, detect abuse, or perform similar functions on our behalf under written terms that restrict their use of the data;
- Professional advisers (for example accountants or insurers) where necessary;
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect vital interests;
- Successors in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and continuity protections.
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We disclose personal information only as described in this policy. If we engage in processing that qualifies as a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable state law in the future, we will update this policy and provide any legally required mechanisms (such as opt-out links or settings).
6. Retention
Uploaded model files are scheduled for deletion approximately thirty (30) days after upload, subject to storage and backup propagation delays. We may retain order metadata, communications, billing records, and security logs longer as needed for operations, disputes, and legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. Retention periods vary by record type and obligation.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our vendors may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies required for authentication, session management, security (including bot detection), and site functionality. You can control cookies through browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break login or uploads.
9. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to children under thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. You may also have the right to appeal our response to a request where state law requires. To exercise rights, contact us using the information on this site. We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights granted by law.
11. California residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended ("CCPA") may grant you additional rights regarding personal information we collect. Categories of personal information collected are described in Section 2; purposes are in Section 3; sources are you, your device, and our service providers; disclosures are in Section 5. You may request access or deletion of personal information subject to exceptions under law. You may designate an authorized agent as permitted by the CCPA.
12. International visitors
